Overview
The universal type offers flexible time design schemes for diverse applications. It can accommodate a low number of stops, such as 1/2 (the output shaft makes two turns for each stop), 2/3 or 1:1. This has not been possible by ordinary means and we do it by using a turning radius ratio for the roller gear cam to the turret as large as 3x or 4x. We can also index small angles such as 6 stops at 30 degrees, or 2 stops at 90 degrees.
Features
Flexible Timing Schemes
Drives can be built for a low number of stops with small index periods.
Flexible Mounting Positions
Index mounts in any position with gearmotor mounting on either side of the index.
Typical Applications
  • Battery (secondary) assembly and inspection machines
  • CD and DVD manufacturing equipment
  • Various assembly and inspection machines
